Equality and Diversity
At North Featherstone J&I we are committed to ensuring equality of education and opportunity for all pupils, staff, parents and carers and other stakeholders irrespective of race, disability, gender, sexuality, religion or belief or socio-economic background. We aim to develop a culture of inclusion and diversity in which all stakeholders connected to our school feel proud of their identity and are able to participate fully in school life.
We will tackle discrimination by the positive promotion of equality, challenging bullying and stereotypes and creating an environment which champions diversity and respect for all.

Each week in assembly, we learn about how differences within our society should be celebrated. Below are some of the examples of the assemblies that have been shared with the children and how these are linked to our core values: Respect, Resilience, Aspirations, Success.
Below is an overview of the assemblies delivered last year and the assemblies that have been delivered in the Autumn Term this year.
Music within the Curriculum
As part of our music curriculum, we complete Key Stage singing. As well as this, and woven into the curriculum is the 'Musician/Composer' of the month.
