At North Featherstone J & I, we follow the Little Wandle Phonic scheme. Children will read with their teacher three times a week. A new book will go home every Wednesday. 

PE

PE is on Tuesdays in Holly class.

Homework

Homework goes out every Friday.Children need to bring back their books on a Wednesday.

Autumn 2

This half terms topic is 'How have toys changed?'.

We have been lucky enough to have a member from Wakefield museum come in to deliver a toys workshop. The focus was to look at different aged toys and how they have adapted over time. We met Charlie Bear who is 75 years old!

 

                                                 

      Autumn 1 

Holly class have had a great start to the year and have settled in well. 

     We have took part in some very exciting things and have many more to come. 

                       This half terms topic is 'What is it like to live in Shanghai?' 

 

We went on a very exciting trip to Eastern Court to explore a variety of Chinese foods and discuss the culture of China.

Holly class took Plop the Owl on an adventure to find Human and Physical features. 

Holly class have been looking at China (Shanghai) on Atlases, to help label our own maps.
