The children have settled into their new routines wonderfully and have adapted to the longer day those who have gone full time.

Due to our ever-changing climate, can we please ask all children to bring a waterproof coat with a hood and a pair of wellies, as a big part of the foundation curriculum involves children working in the outdoors, come rain or shine!

Over the next half term we will be welcoming lots of new faces, we are sure you will help both the children and parents feel welcome and at home.

Reminders;

Snack & baking contributions ~ In order to continue providing daily healthy snacks for all our children, we require a voluntary donation of £1 per week. Tins are situated in the key person areas.

Naming Clothing ~ Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly labelled with your child's name, not forgetting coats, shoes and wellies. It becomes very difficult when there are 30 jumpers that all look the same!

"Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage benefit from spending a lot of time learning through playing outside, whatever the weather. This makes a significant contribution to the excellent progress they make, particularly in their personal, social, emotional and physical development as well as their communication skills". Ofsted

Please do not allow your child to play on the outdoor equipment,

it is often set up for learning activities.
