Class 2

Welcome to Class 2. I am delighted that the children have settled in since the start of term. All the children are working very hard and are trying their best. This year we are very fortunate to be supported in class by

Mrs Powell every morning and Mrs Yeo in an afternoon. Also the children may be supported by  Mrs Chambers and Mr Smith for interventions in maths and literacy. Additional help for reading is being kindly given by several parents in order to further support the children.

In order to promote positive attitudes we use golden tickets celebrate hard work, a positive attitude, thoughtful behaviour and kindness to others. The golden tickets are placed in a tin and a draw is made at the end of each week. The lucky winner usually receives a large bar of chocolate.

If you have any concerns or worries, please do not hesitate to contact the class teacher at the earliest opportunity to discuss any issues.

As part of Forest Schools, the chidren were exploring how they could make a bridge for Tommy the Turtle. They had to consider whether the bridge was long enough, wide enough and strong enough to support him. They children worked very well in their teams and had a lot of Fun in the process.. We how you like the photographs of the children taking part in the activity.
