Please could you ensure that children have their PE kits in school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Spelling Sensation words will be sent home on a Wednesday to be learnt for the following Wednesday. Please check the back of the orange spelling books for these.....Phonic spellings will be sent out on a Friday and tested on the following Friday............Thank you for your continued support
Class FS/1
Welcome to Class F/1 homepage. Here you will find regular updates on newsletter, events and photos for Class F/1. We hope it will give you a little insight into the fun and learning taking place.
In Class F/1 there are 2 teachers, Miss Clapison works Monday to Wednesday and Mrs Jaggar works from Wednesday to Friday. Mrs Cartwright is the Nursery Nurse and Miss Malkin is the Learning support Assistant. We are a really happy team and will be on hand for anything you want to ask us.

Our Rubbish Dance!!
Shanks recycling plant came to talk to the children about ways that we can recycle and taught the children how to sort their rubbish. It was lots of fun and dancing!!
A Day as a Miner
The children are beginning their journey into the past. In our first lesson we learnt about how Featherstone used to be a mining community. We got to meet a real miner. He told us what it was like down the pit and had lots of things for us to try on.
A Spooky Halloween Day
We love Halloween! We had a fantastic day celebrating Halloween in our costumes and would like to share some pictures of our spooky transformations. We hope you don't get too scared!
A fantastic morning spent with Book Start Bear. Everyone loved visiting Featherstone library, there were so many of our favourite books!!
