Visits

School visits can make a major contribution to the acquisition of knowledge and development of skills. Studies of the natural and man-made world, the present and past, science and arts, language, music and PE can all be enhanced outside the classroom.

Here are some of the visits children in class R/1 will enjoy with year!

2014 visit to Abbey House Museum

We found out about houses, school, shops and toys in the past.  It was a fun day out.  Back at school we did our class assembly all about stepping back in time.

Library Visit

Children walk to the library making observations about their local area on the way.

Children learn about the uses of different building in the town where they live. They find out about the library and talk to the people that work their.
