Year 3 P.E.- Wednesday and Thursday Year 4 P.E.- Wednesday Year 4 Swimming- Thursday Spellings-Thursday
Welcome to our Class page, we are having a fantastic Autumn term and have really enjoyed learning about our topic, The Himalayas.
Working in our class we have Miss Kerrigan, Monday to Wednesday and Mrs Oakland, Thursday and Friday. We are also lucky enough to have Mrs Chambers, Miss Hoyle, Miss Knibb and Mr Smith working with us throughout the week.
Maple class were very lucky to have a visit from award-winning author Billy Bob Buttons. The children loved the opportunity to ask him questions about the writing process to help develop their own writing. He talked to the children about his wide range of books, as well as letting them into some of his writing secrets.
Below is an example of what our timetable usually looks like.
In class you can earn Class Dojo points as rewards which you can receive prizes for. As a class we worked together to decide what we would like to be able to earn Dojo points for. Below is some that we came up with. We are already doing fantastic with our points and we are sure this will continue for the rest of the year.
We had a great day when we dressed up for Halloween. If you look carefully you can see some scary creatures looking through the window too!!!!!
The children have really engaged with our learning this term, they have made fantastic progress. They have been a pleasure to teach and have produced some fantastic work.
We had a fantastic time during Forest Schools last half term. Here are some photos of the fun things we got up to!
Find Out Friday
The children always have lots of fun during our FOF sessions (especially when they can write on the table!!!)
They enjoy these maths problem solving activities, showing perseverance to complete the tasks.
We are having great fun learning our new brain break song
'Banana, Banana, Meatball'
Well done to everyone for completing their creative homework over the past few weeks. We have enjoyed many tasty treats and enjoyed looking at all the crafty creations. We have started to make a display to celebrate all the fantastic work. Thank you for all the support from home, it is much appreciated.
