Well done to everyone for completing their creative homework over the past few weeks. We have enjoyed tasty treats and looking at all the crafty creations. We have made a display to celebrate this work. Thank you for all your support at home, it is much appreciated.
Hazel really enjoyed their reward afternoon of pyjamas, popcorn and a DVD for successfully achieving their class target. Well done Hazel!
Billy Bob Buttons comes to North Featherstone...
Billy Bob Button, an award-winning author, came and worked with children in Hazel. He told the children all about the books he has written and even shared some of his secrets to his writing success. The children were excited to hear his work and how he became an author. They delighted in asking him lots of questions.
As part of our learning in science we carried out a drama performance about the digestive system. The children were grouped into carbohydrates, fats and proteins and then demonstrated the process of food being digested.
